The United States Department of Energy (DOE) has endorsed MagnetoHydroDynamics (MHD), magnetic flux fields to remove energy robbing hard water scale, naturally. United States DOE findings of Non-Chemical Technologies , under their heading ,” Application Domain”, states that magnetic flux fields are used for petroleum pipelines. It is a means of decreasing fouling caused by wax build up and the ability to inhibit bio fouling and corrosion. The correct term is Ionization by Magnetic Induction (IMI) to magnetically charge fuel molecules.

Natural Gas IMI tests were conducted at a Toronto High School boiler.
