   Opacity tests, both in Canada and the United States are defined as analyzing diesel exhaust gases. This procedure targets the following pollutants; Carbon (C), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), NOx Nitrogen Oxides (different nitrogen compounds), Hydrocarbon (HC) and Particulate Matter (PM).

   On Road diesel engines such as trucks, involve snap tests which measures rpm (revolution per minute). This calculates the engine’s performance from curb idle to a higher rpm demand.

   Off Road diesel engines may include bulldozers, tractors, electrical generators, watercraft, construction equipment, generators etc.

   The following tests were done in the United States by Clear Sky USA. Federal Guidelines with approved equipment were used.

   Before are the baseline results.
   After, means the Diesel Oxidizing Catalyst provokes a significant change.
