UPDATE May 25, 2010

Records show “Power Engineering Aug/1999 article in Australia” showed magnetic applications to a diesel powered electric generator increased efficiency. Stamford C534C generator rated at 250 kW. Before application of MHD generation rate was 16.5 kwh/gal. After MHD it was generating 20.4 kwh/gal. About 24% savings. As I mentioned before, polarizing diesel, gasoline, heating oils or natural gas makes it burn cleaner and more efficiently.

City University London England on the web “New Scientist Journal #18 February 1988” Magnetic fields remove hard water scale “calcite” especially inside hot water systems. McMullens the brewers used to have a ten day shut-down to remove hard scale from a 69,000L vessel. The magnetic application reduced this to a couple of days and the scale was soft. Van body manufacturer in Luton reduced blocked jets on heat exchangers for steel pretreatment. Calcium phosphate scale disappeared on walls of dipping tank. It also strengthens the making of concrete. Putting a magnetic unit into the water supply softens scale so it is easier to remove and prevents scale. It reduces maintenance shut-down time and costs naturally.

Depending on the manufacturing or water process use, some chemicals are still required.

For example, public swimming pools still require chlorine for health reasons. Magnetic applications accelerate and act as a reagent. A swimming pool in Belgium reduced Chlorine use by up to 20%. Magnetic Water Treatment (MWT) also reduces the surface tension of the water molecules.

The British designed and are manufacturing the most efficient natural gas household boiler in the world. The Government bought up the next two years worth of production of these boilers for installation in their subsidized housing divisions. But the Kortright Center Parks and Culture in Woodbridge Ontario, has the only one in North America as an operational unit in one of their efficient home model.

Kortright Centre is also testing the electronic version of MHD to de-scale the hard water naturally without chemicals.

The City of Vaughan (above Toronto) and Humber College in Toronto have purchased our rare earth metal magnets units for their gas fired appliances. This is presently the easiest and most cost effective method to reduce their carbon footprint, to comply with this new legislation.
